libtool: null directory

    I am failing to make cflowd on SunOS 5.6 Generic_105181-17 sun4u.

    The make proceeds succesfully until just after making apps/cflowdmux,
    then it bombs out with

      ../../libtool: null directory
      libtool: link: cannot determine absolute directory name of `'

    However I don't understand what apparently blank parameter is being passed
    to libtool, and what I was supposed to do. Someone please point out my
    error.
