See your libtool file and find the place where is "cannot determine absolute
directory name of" string located. Then you must just define 'dir' variable as a
absolute path to arts lib before it.
$ cat libtool
[...]
# We need an absolute path.
----> dir="/usr/local/arts/lib"
case "$dir" in
[\\/]* | [A-Za-z]:[\\/]*) ;;
*)
absdir=`cd "$dir" && pwd`
if test -z "$absdir"; then
$echo "$modename: cannot determine absolute directory name of \`$dir
'" 1>&2
