    Hi there,

    I´ve got the problem with gcc-2.95.3
    I have upgraded gcc to version 3, but I get the same problem.
    I´ve read in some web pages it could be due to a bad instalation of gcc, but
    the instalation of these 2 packages seems good.

    Anyone has got an idea ?

    I am trying to install Arts++1.1.a8 on a Solaris8 Sparc, but I´ve got an
    error executing ./configure :

    checking whether byte ordering is bigendian... configure: error: can not run

    Is it a known problem ? Does anybody have a solution ?
