Dan works as a general sysadmin in CAIDA, providing suppor for user, software, and hardware. He
is responsible for Skitter maintenance such as installation and management of the CAIDA skitter boxes and data.
He handles skitter gripes and research access to data. Dan is also a Web Server Admin who oversees server tweaks, ssl goo, and cgi scripts.

Background
Dan went to college at UCSD, studying Computer Science. During that time, he started working as a system administrator for L-3 Communications. Eventually, he started there fulltime, leaving his college degree unfinished. In March of 2000, Dan came to work at CAIDA.
