Parisa was an Ark systems administrator at CAIDA. She buildt Ark boxes to deploy to host sites. Parisa was also responsible for building and maintaining relationships with current and potential Ark monitor hosts to ensure proper system maintenance and growth.

Parisa studied Electrical Engineering at UCSD, and worked at Scripps Institute of Oceanography for over 5 years before joining CAIDA. She is involved with UCSD's karate club and enjoys hiking San Diego's many beautiful trails.
