- Performance experiments on different TCP configurations
10:15 am - 10:45 am Break
10:45 am - 12:00 pm Analysis of TCP Performance
- Performance:
  • 1/sqrt(p) formula for CA

  • UMass calculation including timeouts

  • Slowstart analysis
12:00 pm - 1:00 pm Lunch
1:00 pm - 3:00 pm Kernel Lab

- These exercises are probably grad level exercises and each tries to touch on an interesting research problem. As such, they might be hard and they might be open-ended. The goal is to do/learn as much as possible in the time available. At the end of the lab, each group may display a graph of interesting results and give a short summary of what they did.
