The RIPE NCC is an organisation funded by European ISPs. It serves them as an independent and neutral place to do things of common interest such as address space allocation/assignment and the routing policy registration. In the future there may be a role for the NCC in collecting and publishing independent service quality measurements. We would like to compare our initial ideas with others and explore the possibility of common work in this area.
