Workshop Report
The goal of the meeting was to clarify ISP requirements for Internet statistics and metrics that support backbone engineers ability to:

diagnose network problems

conduct capacity planning
-
explain the phenomenon resulting from topology changes
The meeting was held in the auditorium of the San Diego Supercomputer Center. Attendance was being limited to individuals who have demonstrated expertise in the field of analyzing traffic and routing metrics for backbone applications. To keep the meeting small and focused, participation was mostly limited to one attendee per organization.
