Geographic distribution of the IPv4 source addresses




• For analyzing the geographic distribution of the IP source addresses that send packets to the telescope network over the time we visualize the following figures. We evaluate the number of IP sources that send at least one packet, grouping them by country. For mapping the observed IP addresses to geographic countries we use Digital Envoy's NetAcuity.
  
  

  The color of the country, according to the color bar, indicates the received number of sources in the IP headers in an hour. As shown in the color bar, these animations use a log scale.

  
  
  To visualize a world map figure, select the day in the calendar and observe the distribution of the IP sources evolving during the hours of that day.
