DARPA: Coral Monitors

• Passive optical splitters tap off 10% of the optical power

• electromechanical switch (connected to splitters) outputs to DWDM demultiplexor

• 128 channels of the DWDM demux pass through another electromechanical switch whose output is the OC48mon

• OC48mon monitors a single channel (user defined or random)
