Claffy co-authored a paper with Reagan Moore, Jay Dombrowski, and Tom Hutton of SDSC, entitled ``Security models in the Metacenter'',
sponsored in part by NSF Cooperative Agreement ASC-8902825. ANR has gotten more involved in security issues this year. Driven by the need to access some ANS machine(s) that converted to requiring kerberized access, we have started to use the Cygnus version of kerberos 4 on all ANR machines. We have also offered architectural support to SDSC's security agenda.
