JJ Jamison

JJ  is a research engineer with CAIDA, primarily working on the Archipelago (Ark) active measurement infrastructure project. He also plays a role as a field engineer supporting the AVOID project. JJ works for CAIDA from the offices of the Apollo Scientific Computing Center at  EAFIT University in Medellín Colombia.

Background

JJ graduated from UCSD with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics-Computer Science and from The George Washington University with a Master of Science in Computer Science. He started his career at a Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC), where he contributed to network research for the Department of Defense. Following a significant period focused on high-performance networking while working for routing equipment vendors, JJ transitioned back to non-profit research at CAIDA.
