Ark Programming Environment Access Request

CAIDA's Archipelago (Ark) programming environment lets vetted academic researchers conduct on-demand measurements from Ark vantage points, using the scamper Python module.

Please use the form below to request access. Tell us the goal of your experiment and its expected load — what measurements you will do, to where, how many, and how often. If your request is approved, we will then ask you for the SSH public key you would like to use.

Please submit one request per person who needs access, wherever possible, rather than one request covering a whole group.

This form requests access to run your own measurements on the Ark measurement infrastructure. If instead you are looking for the topology data that CAIDA collects from Ark, you do not need this form — use the Public Macroscopic Internet Topology Data from Archipelago request form instead.

If you have questions about the environment, or problems using this form, please send email to ark-info@caida.org.
