ACCESS Help
ACCESS — the NSF-funded national cyberinfrastructure program — offers several support channels: a help-ticket system, the Ask.CI community forum, documentation and search, and training/events plus one-on-one MATCH mentoring. This page points you to each and explains when to use it.
ACCESS Help
ACCESS (the NSF-funded national cyberinfrastructure) offers several ways to get help, ranging from a help-ticket system to community Q&A, documentation, and training. Opening a help ticket is the best option for account, login, and resource-specific issues.
Help ticket
ACCESS’s primary support channel is its help-ticket system.
- Go to the Open a Ticket page and sign in with your ACCESS ID.
- Choose the category that best fits your issue:
- I need help logging into the ACCESS website — authentication problems with the ACCESS portal itself
- I need help logging into a resource (e.g., Anvil, Expanse) — problems reaching a specific allocated system
- I want to report a security incident — a suspected compromise or other security concern
- I have another question — anything else
- Track and reply to your open requests anytime in the ACCESS service desk portal.
Community Q&A (Ask.CI)
For questions the wider research-computing community can answer, use Ask.CI, a Q&A forum for researchers, facilitators, and sysadmins. It has a dedicated ACCESS Forums category for questions about cyberinfrastructure supported by the NSF ACCESS program.
Documentation
- ACCESS Documentation — the main documentation wiki
- Search ACCESS and the Knowledge Base resources — searchable how-tos and reference material
Training and one-on-one help
- MATCH services — free, short mentoring engagements that connect you with an expert to help select a system, run on a supercomputer, or solve basic code and research problems; start by attending office hours
- Trainings and events and the Video Learning Center — live sessions, office hours, and recorded tutorials
