Archipelago Monitor Data Coverage

The page shows the duty cycle of all currently active Archipelago monitors. The data coverage graphs indicates for which times IPv4 traceroute data and/or IPv6 data are available. The size graphs indicate the growth of the raw data in both compressed and uncompressed numbers.

Data Availability

These graphs show the data coverage of all currently active monitors for all data (back to the start of the Archipelago project in 2007; left) and for the last 30 days (right).

Light green indicates that only IPv4 traceroute data are available for the indicated time; dark green indicates the availibility of both IPv4 and IPv6 data; purple indicates times where only IPv6 data are present.

The names of the monitors (with the team number) are listed in the order in which they were activated (from bottom to top).

Number of traceroutes in raw Ark data

The graphs below show the growing size of the Archipelago raw data in terms of the number of traceroutes taken, for both IPv4 and IPv6. The top graphs show the number of traceroutes taken per day (IPv4 on the left; IPv6 on the right); and below that the accumulated total up to the date indicated.

Above each graph the number of active monitors at the time indicated on the time axis is given.

Storage size of raw Ark data

The graphs below show the growing size of the Archipelago raw data for both IPv4 and IPv6 in uncompressed (light green) and gzip-compressed (dark green) numbers. The top grap shows the amount of data taken per day (IPv4 on the left; IPv6 on the right); and below that the accumulated total up to the date indicated.

Above each graph the number of active monitors at the time indicated on the time axis is given.
